When combined with a WordPress website, businesses can streamline their marketing efforts by capturing form data directly into their email marketing platforms.
This article will explore the integration of any WordPress form data into email marketing and a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Okay fellas, we already know the automation plugin (Bit Integrations) which is required.
But, which forms and email marketing tools you might need specifically? Worry not here, Bit Integrations supports a mass range of forms and email marketing tools. This automation plugin has 90+ triggers and 150+ actions. So you can choose according to your needs.
So, choose the ones that you’re comfortable with, even better if you have experience using it.
For demonstration process sake, we’re going to show you how to send WPForms data to Mail Poet using the Bit Integration automation plugin.
If you’re in a rush, watch our short guide:
Step 1: Bit Integrations Plugin
Start with the center guy in the picture. First, download the Bit Integrations plugin, then upload, install, and activate it.
Step 2: Integration process
Go to the plugin dashboard and click on Create Integration.
Select any form you want to use as a trigger. There are a bunch of forms, page builders, and LMS options in this plugin’s integration list. So, we are picking the WPForms this time. Use the search box to find out your form.
Now, among the options select your form or task name. Go next.
Again, search your email marketing tool and select it as action.
Step 3: Integration settings
Simply Authorize it. There will be an ‘Authorized successfully’ message will pop up at the corner of the page. Click on next.
We’re almost there.
Select your list and map your fields by making sure it goes with form fields to MailPoet fields.
Use conditional logic if it is required of you. Click next.
In conditional logic, for example, let’s set one.
So here for the form field email section, we’re gonna set logic where only mail that has the value ‘gmail’ in them will approved and the ones that have ‘yahoo’ value in them will not approve.
Finish & Save.
Well done mate, we have successfully connected them. As you can see there are also status options available that can be disabled in time when not needed.
Furthermore, under the action 3-line sign, you can know the previous work info and the work history timeline. Edit, clone, or delete are also available.
Now, it’s time to check the form workflow. So, let’s fill out the form elements.
To check if it was a successful WordPress workflow automation, go to your MailPoet subscribers. You will see your form data there, like me:)
Remember in conditional logics we set earlier. View from your integration timeline history about the work status which shows validation means it worked. In the form, the logic word that was used for not contain the value/word ‘’yahoo’. Thus no data goes to MailPoet.
I am telling you again. You can use any WordPress Forms to connect and send data flawlessly to any email marketing tools such as Brevo (Sendinblue), ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, Klaviyo, GetResponse, and many more.
Bit integrations is not just limited here. If you need to automate to other platforms like CRM: Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, Groundhogg, Perfex CRM, etc, or to WhatsApp or Google Sheets this plugin supports those as well.
