At first, make sure to download and install both Bit Integrations and Bit Form or any other form of your choice.


Then, begin by navigating to the Bit Integrations dashboard. Click on the “create integration”.

Now, search for “Form” and select your preferred specific form you want to connect with WhatsApp as your trigger. We are using Bit Form here.

To configure your trigger, simply select the form option name that you want to work with and click Next.

Next, search for and select “WhatsApp” as the action. This step will link the form submission with sending a message through WhatsApp.

You will be required to fill in your WhatsApp business account details which include your Phone number ID, WhatsApp business account ID, and Access Token. From the Meta Developer, you can obtain all these credentials.

Step 3.1: Create & Configure Meta Developer
Create a new account with your Facebook on the Meta Developer if you do not have one already. So, log in to your account and go to the ‘My Apps’ page. And then click on the ‘Create App’ button.

Now, press on to the next.

Then, in use cases among all options select the ‘Other’ option and press on the next.

Choose “Business” as the app type.

Provide our plugin name under the add an app name. Press on the Create app.

Set up WhatsApp as the product within the app.

Now, copy the access token (valid 24 hours), phone number ID, and WhatsApp business account ID and paste them into the Bit Integrations WhatsApp Integrations settings.

If you create a permanent token then, go to Meta Developer dashboard > Test Business > System users > Add > Fill with admin role option to Create System User > Add assets > Apps > Choose Bit Integrations > Turn one Full Control > Save Changes > Generate new Token > Select app: Bit Integrations > Change Token expiration from 60 days to Permanent, select available Permissions to whatsapp_business_manageent and whatsapp_business_messaging > generate token
Go to the meta developer app ID dashboard, find the “Add phone number”, and click it.

Now set up your business information, WA business profile, and then add your number. Verify it with the provided code at the end. Press next.

Go back to the integration dashboard on your site and click on authorization. It will show successfully authorized. Click next.
After that, in the 3rd stage of the Integration setting, select your message type, and field map according to your form. Press next.

Once all the configurations are complete, save the integration Voila! We are done.
