How to Set Up MoreConvert Wishlist Integration as an Action in Bit Integrations

Before You Begin

Make sure all of the following are true before starting:

  • The Bit Integrations plugin is installed and active on your WordPress site.
  • The MoreConvert Wishlist plugin is installed and active on your WordPress site.
  • You have already set up a trigger, for example: a WooCommerce checkout, a contact form, or an LMS enrollment.

Step 1: Search and Select MoreConvert Wishlist as an Action

Start by going to your Bit Integrations dashboard and clicking on Create Integration. This will open the integration setup flow.

The first thing Bit Integrations will ask you is to choose a trigger plugin. A trigger is the plugin that starts the automation. For example, you can choose a form builder plugin like Gravity Forms or Fluent Forms, an eCommerce plugin like WooCommerce, or an LMS plugin like LearnDash or TutorLMS as your trigger. Select whichever plugin needs your workflow.

Once you have selected your trigger and finished configuring it, Bit Integrations will move you to the “Please select an Action” page. This is where you tell Bit Integrations what should happen after the trigger fires.

On the action page, you will see a search bar at the top. Type “MoreConvert Wishlist” into the search bar. The MoreConvert Wishlist icon will appear in the results. Click on it to select it as your action and move to the next step.

Step 2: Connect to MoreConvert Wishlist

After selecting MoreConvert Wishlist, you will land on the Integration Settings page. You will see two things here:

  • Integration Name: A default name (“MoreConvert Wishlist”) is already filled in. You can keep it as is or rename it to something more descriptive, like “WooCommerce to MoreConvert Wishlist.”
  • Connect to MoreConvert Wishlist button: Click this button. Bit Integrations will automatically detect and connect to your MoreConvert Wishlist plugin. Since both plugins are on the same WordPress site, no API key or manual credentials are needed.

Once the connection is established, click the Next button to continue.

Step 3: Choose a MoreConvert Wishlist Action Event

Now you are on the action event selection screen. Click on the Action dropdown to see all the available action events.

Select the action event that fits your use case. For example, if you want to create a new wishlist whenever a user completes a form, choose Create Wishlist. After selecting your action event, click the Next button.

Step 4: Map the Fields and Set Utilities

This is the most important step. Here, you tell Bit Integrations which data from your trigger should flow into which fields in MoreConvert Wishlist.

The screen is divided into two main sections:

Map Fields

You will see two columns side by side:

  • Form Fields (left column): These are the fields coming from your trigger plugin. For example, if you are using a form builder or WooCommerce, these would be your form field names, or WooCommerce field names, like “Product Name” or “Product Short Description.”
  • MoreConvert Wishlist Fields (right column): These are the fields in MoreConvert Wishlist that you want to fill in, like “Wishlist Name” or “Description.”

Match each trigger field to its corresponding MoreConvert Wishlist field. You can click the “+” button to add more field mappings, or the trash icon to remove a mapping you do not need.

Utilities

Below the field mapping area, you will find the Utilities section. These are optional settings that give you extra control over how the wishlist is created or updated:

UtilityDescription
CustomerAssign a specific customer to the wishlist
UserAssign a WordPress user to the wishlist
PrivacySet the wishlist privacy level: Public, Private, or Shared
Default WishlistMark this wishlist as the default wishlist (Yes or No)

Enable only the utilities you need for your integration. Each one has its own sub-fields that will appear once you check it.

Once you are happy with the field mappings and utilities, click the Next button to save and complete your integration. Your MoreConvert Wishlist integration is now live and will run automatically every time the trigger fires.
