WordPress Integration as an Action

WordPress can be connected to Bit Integrations as an action, allowing you to automatically perform WordPress operations. Such as creating posts, managing taxonomies, tags, categories, media, product data, and many more, whenever any supported trigger fires (for example, a form submission from IvyForms, Bit Form, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, or WPForms).

How to setup WordPress integration as an action step-by-step

Step 1: Select WordPress as Your Action

From the Bit Integrations dashboard, click Create Integration and choose any supported trigger from the Trigger page. After proceeding to the next step, the Please select an Action page opens. Search for and select WordPress from the list of available actions.

Step 2: Connect to WordPress

Click Connect to WordPress and wait a moment. Bit Integrations will automatically authorize and connect to your WordPress site.

Step 3: Confirm the Connection

Once connected, the button updates to Connected, and a confirmation message, WordPress connected, appears. Click Next to continue.

Step 4: Choose Your Action Event

Open the Action dropdown and select the specific WordPress event you want to run, such as Create Post Tag, Add New Image, or Create Product Category, from the full list of supported events above.

Step 5: Map the Fields

Under Map Fields, match the relevant Trigger Fields (from your chosen trigger, e.g., form fields) to the corresponding WordPress Fields for the selected action. Once all fields are mapped, click Next to save and finish the integration.

Your WordPress action is now configured, and the selected event will run automatically every time your chosen trigger fires.
