Connect With Line

You can easily integrate your LINE account with Bit Integrations by visiting the LINE Developers portal. Start by creating a provider, then set up a new channel and enable the Messaging API. Once authorized, this integration allows you to send messages to your LINE group directly using Bit Integrations, streamlining communication and enhancing your social media presence.

Step-by-Step Guide: First, go to Line Developers and click on “Create Providers.”

Note : If you already have a provider, you can use that provider instead of creating a new one.

Enter a name for your provider and click “Create” to proceed.

Next, you need to create a Messaging API channel. Click on “Create a Messaging API channel,” then on the following page, select “Create a LINE Official Account.”

After clicking on “Create a LINE Official Account,” a new page will open. Here, you need to enter the Account name, Company name, and select the Industry. Once completed, click the Continue button.

After clicking the Continue button, review the information you entered and then click the Submit button.

Now, you will see that your LINE Official Account is ready. Congratulations! Next, click on the “Go to LINE Official Account Manager” button.

After clicking the “Go to LINE Official Account Manager” button, a new page will open. On this page, click on “Chats.” You will then see a prompt saying “Chats are disabled.” Click on “Go to Response Settings.“

Now, in the Response Settings, enable Chats.

  • Go to the Messaging API section and click on Enable Messaging API.
  • You will be prompted to choose a provider — in this case, select Bit Integrations and click Agree.
  • Enter the URLs for your provider’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, then click OK.
  • Next, enter your Webhook URL and click Save.
  • After saving, return to the Response Settings and enable Webhooks.

For further guidance, refer to the video below.

Now, go back to the first tab, which is LINE Developers. Then, click on your provider name, and you will see your channel listed there. Click on the channel to open it.

Now, under LINE Official Account Features, enable Allow bot to join group chats. To do this, click Edit, and a new page will open. Scroll down and turn on Group and multi-person chats.

Now, open the LINE app on your phone, scan the QR code, tap Add, and then send a message

After that, create a new group or add your channel to an existing one, then send a message.

After creating a group or adding the channel to an existing group and sending a message, check the webhook. You will receive various pieces of information, including the User ID, Reply Token. This User ID is the Recipient ID:

For Access Token:

  • Go to the LINE Developers Console.
  • Click on your provider.
  • Select your channel name.
  • Navigate to the Messaging API section.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you’ll find the Channel Access Token section.
  • Click Issue to generate a new token.
  • Once the token is generated, copy it and paste it into the Token field in Bit Integrations.

Send a Push Message Event:

Copy the User ID, then navigate to the Bit Integrations Action event section and click on Message Type. Under the Message Type, select “Send a Push Message” and paste the User ID into the Recipient ID field.

Send a Reply Message Event:

Copy the Reply Token, then navigate to the Bit Integrations Action event section and click on Message Type. Under the Message Type select “Send a Reply Message” and paste the replyToken into the Reply Token field.

Important: The replyToken is a temporary, single-use ID that lets your bot send one reply to a user. It expires quickly, and using an expired token will cause the reply to fail.
