Bit Integrations is a WordPress plugin that allows you to automate and integrate your WordPress forms builders and other plugins with Notion. This can save you time and effort, and improve your lead generation and customer management processes.

Authorization of Notion Integration

First, you have to select the Notion from the actions page. To do this, open your Bit Integrations dashboard, then click on the Create Integration button. Now, the Trigger page will open. Select any trigger from the list, such as Bit Form, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, WS Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Everest Forms, Elementor Form.

Then proceed to next, and the action page will open. Now Search and select Notion from the action page.

Integration Name/Title: Here, give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

To get the Notion OAuth client ID and client secret, you need to create a public connection in Notion. Here are the steps:

  1. After selecting a trigger and choosing Notion as the action, go to Notion Integration → Public Connection.
  2. If a public connection already exists, select it. Otherwise, click Create New Connection.
  3. Fill in the required details:
    • Connection name
    • Icon
    • Development workspace (used for testing)
    • Redirect URI (shown in the authorization pop-up after selecting Notion in Bit Integrations)
    • Install option (choose whether it will be available to any workspace or only limited ones)
  4. Click Create.
  5. After creation, you will see the OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret in the configuration panel, along with an Authorization URL and Redirect URL option.
  6. Copy the Redirect URL from Bit Integrations, add it to the Redirect URI field in the Notion configuration, and save.
  7. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and paste them into the corresponding fields in Bit Integrations.

Once you have successfully entered your OAuth client ID and OAuth client secret, click “Authorize” to proceed. Then, Allow Access. Once you have successfully authorized your account, then click on “Next“.

Database List: If you already have a Notion database, select it. If not, you can create one by following this guide on how to create a database in Notion.

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in Notion. The “Name” field is the default field in Notion, so you will need to map your form’s “Name” field to this field in Notion.

Conditional Logics

With this feature, you can incorporate conditions into the integration process. When the specified conditions align, the data will be transmitted to your Notion. For additional details, we recommend consulting our documentation regarding conditional logic. After you have configured your conditional logic, click Next to continue.
