Authorization of EmailOctopus Integration

First you have to select the EmailOctopus from the actions page. To do this open your Bit Integrations dashboard then click on Create Integration button now the Trigger page will open select any trigger from the list such as Bit Form, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, WS Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Everest Forms, Elementor Form. Then proceed to next and the action page will open. Now Search and select EmailOctopus from the action page.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

To set up EmailOctopus integration with Bit Integrations, you’ll need EmailOctopus API Key. Follow these steps to get it.

• Go to your EmailOctopus dashboard.
• At the top right, click on your Profile.
• Click on Integrations and API.
• You can find the API under Developer tools.
• Click on Manage.
• Click on Create key.
• Enter a name for your API key.
• Click on Create.
• Your API Key will be displayed.
• In the integration settings for the third-party application you want to connect to EmailOctopus, Paste your API Key into the integration’s API Key field.

Once you have successfully entered your API Key, click “Authorize” to proceed.

Once you have successfully authorized your account, Click “Next” to proceed with configuring the remaining integration settings.

You can select one or more lists from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see any lists, click the Refresh button.

In the EmailOctopus integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in EmailOctopus. The “Email” field is the default field in EmailOctopus, so you will need to map your form’s “Email” field to this field in EmailOctopus. You have the option to map additional fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Utilities

Add Tags: You can enable the action Add Tags Field to add the tags of the contact. In addition, you can add multiple tags from the Drop-Down list.

Update Contact: If the user already exists on your EmailOctopus account, It will update the contacts with other field information based on the email address.

Unsubscribe contact: The initial status of the contact: SUBSCRIBED. If you enable this option, the contact will receive an invitation letter to subscribe. When the user accepts the invite, the user will be added to the subscriber list.
