Authorization of Salesforce Integration

First, you have to select Salesforce from the actions page. To do this open your Bit Integrations dashboard then click on the Create Integration button now the Trigger page will open select any trigger from the list such as Bit Form, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, WS Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Everest Forms, Elementor Form. Then proceed to next and the action page will open. Now Search and select Salesforce from the action page.

Integration Name/Title: Here give the meaningful integration title as per your requirement.

To get your Salesforce Client ID & Client Secret, follow these steps:

• Log in to your Salesforce account.
• Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner and select “Setup.”
• In the left sidebar, scroll down to Platform Tools.
• Under Platform Tools, go to Apps → App Manager.
• Click “New External Client App.”
• Enter the following:
  • External Client App Name
  • API Name
  • Contact Email
• Under the API section, check the box for “Enable OAuth Settings.”
• Copy the Callback URL from your integration platform and paste it into the Callback URL field.
• Add the following OAuth Scopes:
  • Full Access
  • Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
• Disable the option “Require Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) Extension for Supported Authorization Flows.”
• Click “Create.”
• Go to the app’s Settings section, then scroll to OAuth settings.
• Click on “OAuth Settings”, then click on Consumer Key.
• Verify your identity using the OTP sent to your email.
• After verification, your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret will be shown.
• Copy the Consumer Key and paste it into the Integration Client ID field in your integration platform.
• Copy the Consumer Secret and paste it into the Client Secret field.

Once you have successfully entered your Salesforce Client ID & Client Secret, click “Authorize” to proceed. Once you have successfully authorized your account then click on “Next“.

Type: Select a an action the drop-down list. For Example: “Create Contact“

In the integration settings, you will see a “Map Fields” option. This is where you will need to map the fields from your form to the corresponding fields in Salesforce. The “Last Name” field is the default field in Salesforce, so you will need to map your form’s “Last Name” field to this field in Salesforce. You have the option to map additional fields by clicking on the Plus (+) icon.

Once you have configured the desired settings for the integration, click the Save & Finish button to save the integration.
